Uganda Visitor
Mrs Rhona Marshall, MBE, of Christian Relief Uganda came to talk to the Juniors on Friday 6th November. She told us about the school in Kimuli and how different life is for children there.
The Ugandan artefacts she showed us included a football made of bark, the most enormous wooden spoon and a mesh wire rat trap. We were amazed to hear that a loofah does not grow in the sea, but on a vine.
On 24th November, inspired by Mrs Marshall's talk, Upper II girls held a cake sale which raised £70.30 for Christian Relief Uganda.
