The first Bronze Award training walk took place on Sunday 11th October at Lyme Park near Stockport. There were 62 girls, five WGS staff and over 20 parents involved. The cloud base was very low for part of the day and all the groups gained experience of navigating in poor visibility and heavy rain. The next outing for Bronze groups will be on February 28th, when they will have to make their way from Marple to Hayfield. Parents will checkpoint but not accompany the groups on this walk.
