The last two weekends of September saw Third Form pupils enjoying glorious blue skies in the idyllic setting of the Ghyll Head Outdoor Education Centre.  All 81 Third Form girls took part along with a team of staff (Dr Maisey, Dr Spinks, Mrs Arthan, Mrs Howling, Miss Ross, Dr Vilela and Mrs Smith) and 10 willing and invaluable Sixth Form Peer Supporters.

The newest pupils in the Senior School got to know one another while they took on numerous challenges including abseiling, ghyll scrambling, canoeing and rafting.

As well as having a great deal of fun and forming many new friendships, the girls also got to know their Head of Year, their Form Tutors and Sixth Form Peer Supporters in an informal setting.

When Mrs Pickering enquired how the the girls rated their weekend as they got off the coach, one girl said: "11 out of 10!"
