The Blue Note Mystery, a new nocturnal extravaganza by the lighting designers of the opening ceremony at the Beijing Olympics, proved the highlight in more ways than one for 41 members of the Lower Fourth on their trip to Euro Disney, near Paris during the summer holidays.

Led by Mrs Yorke Menzies, the party also toured the French capital, taking in the Eiffel Tower and les Bateaux Mouches, and travelled to Poitiers and La Rochelle.
