The morning sessions allowed each class to take different roles and to begin to understand the story. They used props, costumes and name badges to improvise and direct their show.

The action involved individual pupils taking on the the parts of the different characters, whilst groups pretended to sail ships and debate in a courtroom. In the afternoon the whole Junior School joined the four representatives of the YSC and gave a comical and modern performance of henry V. It certainly inspired all the Juniors and brought Shakespeare to life.
