Third Form at Ghyll Head

Third Form girls, most of whom are new to Withington, spent a very exciting time at Ghyll Head Outdoor Education Centre in the Lake District over two consecutive weekends in September.

The girls arrived as relative strangers and departed having made many new friends with whom they shared a range of adventurous team activities, which included canoeing, gorge walking and climbing 30 ft up a tree then descending at great speed down a zip wire.

The girls all had a wonderful time and the top three favourite moments were: gorge walking, jumping off the jetty into Lake Windermere and fun games such as Sardines on the Saturday night.
