Current Upper Sixth or Recent Leaver? Work for Withington this Summer!

The Development Team at Withington is holding its third telethon in August this year, and we are recruiting callers exclusively from amongst our current Upper Sixth and recent leavers (Classes of 2014/2015). This will be a 2 week telephone fundraising campaign to raise funds and awareness for Withington’s Bursary Scheme and the Enhancing Opportunities Annual Fund. Callers will receive full training and will be supervised by a specialist consultancy before beginning the campaign.

During the 2 weeks of the campaign you will gain valuable transferable skills, have interesting work experience to add to your CV and earn money whilst working with your friends! The campaign promises to be a fun and worthwhile opportunity, so do think about applying.

The telethon will take place here at Withington from 8th to 22nd August. Working hours will be:

Monday-Friday: 6.15pm-9.30pm

Saturday: 11.45am-6pm

Sunday: 1.45pm-8pm

This will include breaks and 2 days off (one of which will be on A Level Results Day). All callers must be available for the compulsory training days on 8th and 9th of August. For queries regarding availability on other dates, please email development@wgs.org

Callers will be paid a competitive hourly rate for all of the call shifts, and for the two training days. The campaign will be fun and relaxed with the opportunity of rewards for good fundraisers.

You will need to have a National Insurance Number to work on this campaign. If you are interested in applying to be a caller, please complete the Online Application Form at:
