There has been a fantastic fundraising effort today with pupils raising a superb £600 for JDRF and £140 for Children in Need.

For JDRF, younger pupils staged a ‘Type onesie day’. Pupils paid a fine for coming to school in a ‘onesie’;  JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) aims to create a world without type 1 diabetes, a condition which is surprisingly common in young people.

For BBC Children in Need, the Catering Department raised £140 in the space of half an hour selling more than 250 Pudsey biscuits!
